Our client is currently seeking a Technical Strategy Analyst - Smart Metering to be based in Germany.
This Technical Strategy Analyst - Smart Metering will have a thorough understanding of the nature of the business problems in the Energy & Utilities industry, and the products and solutions that provide value in solving those problems.
The Technical Strategy Analyst - Smart Metering will have an understanding of IS trends and the directions of the industry, the marketplace, and the players are essential.
The Utilities sector in Germany is experiencing a period of significant change driven by a series of fundamental shifts in operating model and relationship such as:
• The implementation of smart metering and smart grid, with the associated new service propositions • The ‘energy gap’ • Mergers and acquisitions and the new market entrant opportunities for groups such as mobile operators • Customer channel changes and the changing customer expectations • The extraction of value from the replacement of legacy systems
The Technical Strategy Analyst - Smart Metering will have experience in one or more sector-specific areas with a desire to deepen knowledge.
The successful candidate will support the development of new propositions and the engagement of the SMEs in accounts and will assist on cross-brand teams looking at shared activities.
The successful candidate will provide support in the selling of Utilities sector business including the potential to work on bid activity and support the wider Comms sector growth and team objectives through active contribution in initiatives.
The Technical Strategy Analyst - Smart Metering works with process discipline and rigour in delivery (focus on delivery excellence) and supports the delivery leadership team.
The successful candidate will appreciate and attend to the systems required to drive accountability and execution; have strong planning, multi-tasking and organizational skills and be able to deliver client solutions against defined value propositions
Travel: Across Germany
The Technical Strategy Analyst will be required to haev the following background:
• Bachelor's Degree • Smart Metering: Mastered. The candidate should have a thorough understanding of downstream/retail and network distribution operations within the smart energy arena. • Smart Grids: Mastered. Experience both technical and functional. • Energy and Utilities Industry Knowledge: Mastered • German native, English fluent (Additional Languages Bonus)
