Our client is currently looking for a Sales Manager T&D Products to be responsible for promoting HW product portfolio within the area:
Intelligent Electronic Devices (IED): -Substation Automation -Transformer Monitoring and Diagnostics (M&D)
Power Products: -Capacitors (Industrial & Utility Units)
The successful candidate will:
• Develop marketing / account plan per country / product range to drive growth based on a coverage / gap analysis
• Create, communicate, and execute sales/growth strategies
• Create Go-To-Market plans
• Develop new customer accounts and grow business volume with existing customers
• Maintain and grow the companies presence in the market of the given region
Qualifications / Requirements:
• Electronic or Electrical Power Engineering background, bachelor degree or equivalent
• Solid sales experience (power generation, T&D utilities, industry)
• Experience of managing sales channels, local partners, distributors and value added resellers.
• Selling of both complex monitoring & control solutions and products (substation automation, M&D) and electrical power products (eg. capacitors, transformers)
• Sound background on automation systems, communications and control systems
• First-class verbal and written communication and presentation skills in both English, Germany and ideally additional “regional” languages
• Evidence of successful sales experience or significant customer interaction on industry related product solutions
• Customer orientated/ Growth mindset. Must be able to generate immediate credibility on different levels externally and internally. Ability to develop key customer relationships and to promote win-win sales strategies
• Proactive work style, creativity, energy. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a distributed, pan-European sales structure
• Excellent negotiating & closing skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on relationships / team building
• Change management mindset
